Men at Greater Risk of Memory Loss

Men are at higher risk of mild memory loss than women, according to a new study published in the journal Neurology. The memory dysfunction, known as mild cognitive impairment, or MCI, is the stage between normal brain aging and dementia. Oddly, many studies have shown that women are at higher risk of dementia.

Folate and Vitamin B6 Reduce Stroke Mortality

According to a study published online in the journal Stroke : Journal of the American Heart Association, scientists from the Graduate School of Medicine at Osaka University have found that high dietary intake of folate and vitamin B 6 reduces the risk of death from stroke in women and may also reduce the risk of heart failure in men.

Vitamin K may benefit bones for transplant patients (Nutraingredients.com)

According to findings published in the journal Transplantation , a 180 microgram dose of vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7) was found to improve bone mineral density at the lumbar spine region in people following heart or lung transplants.
